Managing Director of Ghana Post, Rita Sraha, has reaffirmed her administration’s commitment to improving staff welfare, professional development, and workplace security as part of efforts to transform the organisation into a high-performing national institution.
Addressing staff during the first Ghana Post durbar held at the company’s Head Office in Accra, Ms Sraha said employees remain the “heartbeat of Ghana Post” and that their dedication has been the driving force behind the company’s resurgence.

“Every milestone we celebrate is proof that when we combine our strengths, we can overcome any challenge,” she stated.
She announced that 421 staff members across departments had undergone professional training in 31 capacity-building sessions over the past year. In addition, 303 employees who had remained on the same grade for seven or more years and 118 staff with five years of service have received long-overdue promotions.
As part of Ghana Post’s renewed commitment to staff motivation, 164 long-service awards and 392 responsibility allowances have been paid, while new personnel have been recruited to fill critical vacancies.
Ms Sraha said management has also prioritised the safety of workers by engaging three reputable security companies to protect facilities, assets, and employees nationwide.
She noted that initiatives such as the Heritage Month celebrations and participation in the Citi Olympics have enhanced team spirit, unity, and organisational pride.
“Our people remain our greatest asset,” she said, adding that: “We are building an environment where every employee feels valued, empowered, and safe to deliver excellence.”
The Managing Director assured staff that management would continue to invest in career growth, training, and welfare programmes to sustain morale and productivity.
