Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman, the running mate for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), is on a campaign tour in the Central Region.
While en route to a community engagement event in Moree, her convoy was stopped by traders at the Yamoransa Junction, to catch a glimpse of the potential first female vice president of Ghana, should the NDC win the December 7 elections.
A video captured by Radio Gold journalist Emmanuel Coffie showed a jubilant scene as traders blocked the road to greet Professor Opoku Agyeman.
In response to the warm reception, the NDC running mate stepped out of her vehicle to interact with the enthusiastic traders, sharing their excitement with dances and hugs.
Additionally, she supported the traders by purchasing some of the items from the vendors.
