Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, a Kumawood actor, was arrested by the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command shortly after being released from the hospital.
LilWin’s arrest is related to a recent incident where his vehicle was involved in an accident that led to the unfortunate death of a three-year-old boy named Nana Yaw.
After the incident, the family of the deceased and some concerned individuals called for justice and demanded LilWin’s arrest.
Many people on the internet, including well-known figures like media personality Ola Michael and socialite Afia Schwarzenegger, had been calling for LilWin’s arrest.
However, in some photos that have spread widely on the internet, LilWin was taken from the hospital ward straight into a police truck parked at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
According to reports, the police said that LilWin’s arrest was delayed because of his health condition.
Although the police have not given more details, Citinewsroom reports that the actor has been taken to the Manhyia Divisional Police Command of the MTTD as they continue to investigate the matter.

LilWin, who was reportedly driving very fast, hit the vehicle carrying little Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah.
Both Nana Yaw and his father were quickly taken to a nearby hospital and then moved to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where the young boy sadly died.
The accident happened when the actor was on his way to the premiere of his movie.
