Ghanaian actor and broadcaster Seth Kwame Dzokoto has passed away after collapsing during a live appearance on Owass FM in Tarkwa on Thursday, October 22, 2026. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Dzokoto first rose to fame as “Judge Koboo” in the popular television series Efiewura, winning over viewers with his comedic timing and strong screen presence.
He later expanded his career into radio and television broadcasting, becoming a well-known voice across the media landscape, and starred in other TV productions.
Beyond his career in entertainment, Kwame Dzokoto was active in Ghanaian politics. He ran for the Tarkwa-Nsuaem parliamentary seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during the 2016 general elections.
In September 2026, he addressed public concerns regarding his health following a public appearance. At the time, he cleared up death rumors and openly discussed his struggles with high blood pressure and diabetes, noting that businessman Ibrahim Mahama had helped fund his medical treatment abroad.
