Kenyan President, William Ruto has indicated that Kenya will enhance her relations with Ghana to include more sectors in trade and investment, agriculture, mining, tourism, oil and gas.
William Ruto said this when John Dramani Mahama, President elect paid a visit to the Kenyan President to officially invite him to his investiture on the 7th of January 2025
“This will broaden opportunities for the people of the two countries and ensure our shared prosperity, he added
Hosted Ghana’s President-elect John Dramani Mahama and William Ruto also discussed the expansion of intra-African trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area.
The Kenyan President also thanked John Dramani Mahama for declaring his support for Hon Raila Odinga‘s African Union Commission chairperson candidature.
William Ruto also agreed to attend John Dramani Mahama’s swearing-in in Accra next month.
