Distinguished delegation from Nobel International Business (NiBS) University had the honour of meeting with the Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Bagbin, to officially present the Speaker’s Scholarship Initiative.
The delegation was led by Prof. Kwaku Atuahene-Gima, Founder and President of NiBS University, and included notable members such as Dr. Abdul Hamid Kwarteng, Vice President; Hon. Dominic Nitiwul, former Minister for Defence; Hon. Akurugu Elikplim Faustina, MP for Dome-Kwabenya; Hon. Dr. Eric Osei Owusu, former MP for Afram Plains South; Hon. Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, MP for Awutu Senya East; Hon. Dr. Ebenezer Prince Arhin, MP for Mfantseman; and Hon. Dr. Othniel Ekow Kwainoe, MP for Ekumfi.
Also in attendance were Dr. Sylvester Nyamekye, President of the NiBS University Alumni Association, along with Dr. Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, Dr. Peter Glover, and Dr. Owusu Badu.
The visit also served as a platform to introduce the University’s newly launched programs: the Master of Public Sector Innovation & Leadership (MPSIL) and the Doctor of Public Sector Innovation & Leadership (DPSIL).
These programs are a direct response to the rapidly changing landscape of the public sector, where the demand for visionary, innovation-driven leadership continues to grow. They are designed for experienced public servants and focus on practice-oriented research to tackle real-world governance and institutional performance challenges.
