In a bold cost-cutting directive, President John Dramani Mahama has ordered the immediate suspension of fuel allowances and allocations for all government appointees.
The decision, aimed at demonstrating fiscal discipline and redirecting resources to critical sectors, was announced in an official statement signed by Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister for Government Communications and Presidential Spokesperson.
“This directive takes immediate effect and forms part of broader measures to ensure responsible public spending in line with current national priorities,” the statement read.
