In a strong show of commitment to youth development, the NLA Good Cause Foundation has donated GHC50,000 to the National Youth Authority (NYA) ahead of its highly anticipated National Youth Conference scheduled for August this year.
The brief donation ceremony, held at the NLA headquarters in Accra, brought together officials from both organizations.
Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Salam, Director General of the NLA, highlighted the Foundation’s dedication to empowering Ghana’s young people.
“We believe in the power of our young people to drive change and progress in our society,” Mr. Abdul-Salam said. “This support is part of our broader commitment to help develop the next generation of leaders.”
Mr. Osman Abdulai Ayariga, Esq., Chief Executive Officer of the NYA, expressed his deep appreciation for the support, describing it as a significant boost to the Authority’s preparations for the conference.
“This donation is a testament to the NLA Good Cause Foundation’s commitment to the welfare and development of Ghana’s youth,” Mr. Ayariga stated. He was joined by his deputy, Alhaji Inusah Mahama, during the ceremony.
The upcoming National Youth Conference is expected to be a landmark gathering, bringing together young leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders from across the country to discuss strategies for youth empowerment and national development.
The NLA Good Cause Foundation’s contribution, according to officials, sets a commendable example for other organizations to emulate in supporting youth-focused initiatives.
