President John Dramani Mahama has called on Christian men to lead lives of faith, integrity and service, stressing that their contribution is essential to Ghana’s national development.
The President made the call on Saturday when he joined members of the Men’s Ministry of the Assemblies of God Church at the Gomoa Pentecost Convention Centre for their Faith Conference.
Addressing the gathering, President Mahama underscored the importance of faith-inspired leadership, urging Christian men to play active roles in their families, churches and communities.
“Faith must inspire us to serve with integrity, compassion and a deep commitment to the progress of our nation,” he said.
President Mahama commended the Assemblies of God Church for its longstanding contribution to Ghana’s development through education, healthcare and community outreach, describing the church as a valued partner in the country’s development agenda.
“The Church has consistently contributed to the moral and social development of our country, and I encourage you to continue this important mission,” the President stated.
He further encouraged Ghanaians to remain united and hopeful as the country continues its efforts toward economic recovery and sustainable development, emphasizing that faith-based institutions have a critical role to play in fostering peace, unity and national cohesion.
The President’s participation in the conference formed part of his continued engagement with religious organisations across the country, reaffirming his administration’s recognition of the important role faith communities play in nation-building.
The Faith Conference brought together hundreds of men from Assemblies of God congregations across Ghana for worship, fellowship and discussions on Christian leadership, discipleship and service.
