The Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA) has extended warm Christmas greetings and New Year wishes to its stakeholders and the general public, reaffirming its commitment to maritime safety, environmental responsibility, and stakeholder collaboration.
In a goodwill message issued by the Authority, the GMA expressed appreciation for the support and cooperation it received throughout the year, noting that such partnerships remain vital to the growth of Ghana’s maritime sector.
“We sincerely appreciate the continued trust, cooperation, and unwavering support of our stakeholders and the general public throughout the year,” the statement said. “This festive season is an opportunity to reflect, rest, and look forward with renewed hope.”
The Authority wished stakeholders a peaceful and prosperous New Year, expressing optimism about opportunities ahead.
“May this season bring joy and rest to you and your loved ones, and may the New Year open doors to greater opportunities and shared successes,” the GMA noted.
Looking ahead, the Ghana Maritime Authority reaffirmed its dedication to deepening collaboration with stakeholders while strengthening regulatory oversight and promoting environmentally responsible maritime practices aligned with global standards.
“As we look to the coming years, the Authority remains committed to constructive engagement with stakeholders, enhanced collaboration, and the promotion of sound regulatory and environmentally responsible maritime practices,” the statement emphasized.
The GMA also reiterated its resolve to prioritize maritime safety as a cornerstone of national development.
“We remain steadfast in promoting maritime safety as a key driver of sustainable economic growth,” the Authority stated.
The message concluded with a call for continued partnership in advancing Ghana’s maritime industry.
“We look forward to strengthening our collaboration in the year ahead as we work together to advance a safe, secure, and vibrant maritime sector for national development,” the statement added.
