The Ghana Armed Forces has warned against speculative reporting on the helicopter crash that took the lives of 8 Ghanaians.
A statement from GAF issued on August 12, 2025, urged the media to exercise circumspection in their reportage.
To GAF, families are bereaved, and it is therefore insensitive for the media to be reporting on speculation when facts of the cause of the accident haven’t been established.
It assured the Ghanaian people of a thorough investigation to bring closure to the crash.
Ghana lost eight officials on August 6, 2025 in a helicopter crash.
The tragedy is currently being investigated by the Military to bring finality to the matter.
As of today, August 12, 2025, two of the victims have been buried in line with Islamic traditions and customs.
