The Ghana Investment Promotion Authority (GIPA) has urged local and international investors to participate in the maiden Invest Ghana Summit, which is expected to provide direct access to key government decision-makers, showcase investment opportunities and facilitate strategic business partnerships.
Scheduled for November 16 and 17, 2026, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, the summit is expected to bring together investors, policymakers, business executives and financial institutions to explore opportunities across Ghana’s economy.
Speaking to Sena Nombo on Radio Gold’s Gold Morning Conversation, GIPA’s Public Relations Officer, Zainabu Issah, and Senior Investment Promotion Officer with the Aftercare and Investor Governance Division, Samuel Kwakye, highlighted the summit’s potential to connect investors with institutions and individuals responsible for facilitating investment in Ghana.

Mr Kwakye explained that the event would provide participants with access to senior government officials, industry leaders and prospective business partners who might otherwise be difficult to engage directly.
He maintained that the summit would offer investors an opportunity to identify promising projects, establish valuable contacts and gain a better understanding of Ghana’s investment environment.
The officials also encouraged corporate organisations to participate as sponsors, explaining that GIPA was developing tailored sponsorship packages to provide companies with opportunities for visibility, networking and engagement with prospective investors.
Among the businesses mentioned in connection with sponsorship discussions were KGL Group, Tema Integrated Industrial Park, PayAngel, Kasapreko, Guinness, Coca-Cola, Zonda Tech, GB Foods and B5 Plus.
They indicated that engagements with additional corporate organisations were ongoing and encouraged interested companies to contact the Authority to explore sponsorship opportunities.
The GIPA officials further announced that participation in the summit requires prior registration, although the event is open to interested investors and businesses. According to them, Ghanaian participants are required to pay GH¢1,000, while international participants will pay US$100.
They also outlined registration fees for the Ghana Club 100 Awards, indicating that regular participation would cost GH¢1,500, while VIP participation would cost GH¢3,000.
The Invest Ghana Summit will be followed by the 22nd Ghana Club 100 Awards on November 18, 2026, at The Palms Convention Centre in Accra.
The awards ceremony will recognise leading companies for their business performance and contribution to Ghana’s economic development.
