Pressure is beginning to pile on the Minister for Health, Mr Kwaku Agyeman-Manu following his move to procure Sputnik V vaccines through intermediaries.
Despite the ongoing social media campaign under the hashtag #AgyemangManuMustGo, the Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) have gone a step higher in their quest to get Mr Agyemang Manu removed from his post.
ASEPA has revealed that within the coming days, it will file a complaint at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) asking them to probe the Minister for Health about his intended Sputnik V Vaccines some months ago.
“In respect of the violations of our laws there are clear sanctions that must be activated in accordance with the law, in respect of this we are giving the Attorney General a 48-hour ultimatum, to initiate Criminal Investigations and Prosecution against the Minister for Health and all other persons involved in this shady procurement or ASEPA will take the matter up and file an official complaint with the CID”
Also, the group has admonished the Attorney General to as a matter of urgency initiate prosecutorial measures against Mr Kwaku Agyeman-Manu.
