President-elect John Dramani Mahama has assured Ghanaians of his commitment to addressing the shortcomings of the outgoing administration as he prepares to assume office on January 7, 2025.
In his New Year message, Mahama outlined his vision for a lean and efficient government, tackling corruption, reducing excessive expenditures, and fostering a more inclusive economy.
“We will work tirelessly to correct the outgoing administration’s many wrongs, tackle corruption with dogged determination, and reduce excessive government expenditures,” Mahama pledged.
He also called for national unity and optimism, urging Ghanaians to embrace a shared vision of progress and prosperity.
Highlighting his administration’s priorities, Mahama promised support for businesses and entrepreneurs, removing barriers to growth, and creating a framework that empowers them to thrive.
