The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) has promoted seven police officers in recognition of their outstanding performance, bravery and professionalism in the successful investigation and arrest of suspects connected to the Adabraka gold robbery case.
The promotion, which takes immediate effect, benefits one Senior Police Officer (SPO) and six other ranks who have all been elevated to their next ranks following what the Police Administration described as exemplary service in the line of duty.
The officers played a pivotal role in the operational and investigative efforts that led to the arrest of suspects linked to the high-profile robbery case. Their work, according to the Police Administration, demonstrated exceptional commitment, courage and dedication to ensuring public safety and bringing perpetrators to justice.
