The 2024 National Democratic Congress (NDC) running mate, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has called for a united front in the upcoming elections, urging electorates to vote for former President John Mahama and all NDC parliamentary candidates to ensure the party’s vision for the country is fully realized.
During a campaign tour in the Hemang Lower Denkyira constituency in the central region, Professor Opoku Agyemang indicated that a “skirt and blouse” approach would undermine the NDC’s ability to implement its transformational agenda for the nation.
She told a packed crowd at Hemang Zongo “We need a full NDC team in power. This means voting for John Mahama as President and all NDC our parliamentary candidates.”
Prof. Opoku Agyemang explained the NDC’s 24-hour economy policy and indicated the policy was aimed at addressing pressing national issues, including health care, education, and job creation.
She insisted that the effectiveness of these plans hinged on having both a strong executive leadership and a supportive legislative framework.
Her message to the constituents was clear: a single, united vote for John Mahama and NDC parliamentary candidates was needed to enact the transformational changes that according to her many Ghanaians were yearning for.
Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman’s visit to the Hemang Lower Denkyira constituency forms part of her four-day campaign tour to the central region.
She appealed to the constituents to vote massively for the NDC parliamentary candidate for the area, Lawyer Seth Agyapong, and John Dramani Mahama.
