President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed Ghana’s strong economic partnership with the European Union, describing the country’s trade relations with the bloc as “robust and mutually beneficial.”
Deliveeing a keynote address at the Ghana – EU business Forum on Tuesday, President Mahama emphasized the importance of the EU as a strategic trading partner.
“Our trade relations with the EU remain robust and mutually beneficial,” he said.
“We continue to explore avenues that strengthen this cooperation and promote sustainable development.”
The President also highlighted ongoing discussions aimed at expanding investment opportunities and increasing exports to European markets, particularly in the agricultural and manufacturing sectors.
Ghana and the European Union have long maintained a cordial economic relationship, marked by trade agreements, development aid, and shared commitments to democratic governance and regional stability.
