Psalm Adjeteyfio has passed on. Known in the Ghanaian showbiz circle as TT he featured in many Ghanaian movies which served as a source of entertainment and relaxation for most people. He warmed his way into many homes in the early 20’s.
Psalm Adjeteyfio the veteran actor in recent times has been very vocal on the media landscape expressing displeasure about how persons in the acting field are not well remunerated. Psalm Adjeteyfio T.T added that although he played the lead character in Taxi Driver monies paid him was nothing to write home about.
In the past few months, he came out asking the public to support him pay his rent and foot his medical bills. After a viral interview appealing for ¢3,000 to enable him to pay his rent or risk being evicted, the Vice President of Ghana Dr Mahamudu Bawumia promised to pay 5yrs advance for his rent and also give him some money for his upkeep. An amount of ¢30,000, and an additional ¢20,000 were added respectively for his upkeep.
Other individuals also came to his aide with various donations. The Chief of Staff donated GH¢40,000 as well as Greater Accra Regional Minister, Henry Quartey, also committed a monthly ¢1,500 out of his parliamentary salary to ensure his well-being.
