The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has donated assorted food items to the National Chief Imam to support needy Muslims to observe the Ramadan fast.
The items included bags of rice, sugar, cooking oil, Tomato paste, boxes of mackerel, packs of milo, milk, boxes of mineral water, liquid soap and T-roll.

Making the donation at the Fadama residence of the National Chief Imam on Friday, the NPA Chief Executive, Godwin Edudzi Tameklo Esq, noted that the NPA decided to present the food items to reduce the burden that Allah had put on the shoulders of the National Chief Imam “so that he too will alleviate the plight of those who come to him.”
He acknowledged the contribution of the Muslim community towards the development of the country and solidarized with them in their 30 day spiritual journey.

According to Mr. Tameklo, the donation forms part of the Authority’s corporate social responsibilities,
Sheikh Nuhu Sharubutu, National Chief Imam in his response, thanked the NPA for the kind gesture and prayed for its success. He also prayed to Allah to support Lawyer Edudzi Tameklo and his management in all their endeavours.
