It was a powerful musical festival full of fireworks at the 2022 July in Nungua concert.
The main artists for the jams, Stonebwoy and Shatta thrilled the thousands of music lovers who thronged the streets of Nungua, just in front of the Nungua Senior High School with their non-stop hits.
Unlike the 2019 edition which lasted for just a day, the 2022 version was done in two days..9th and 10th of July.
The show which is an annual event sponsored by Liberty Industries, producers of kpookeke and other products could not come off in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the support of Nungua Mantse and his Kingsmen, the Nungua Jaasetse also the CEO of Liberty Industries Nii Botwe Laryea II were determined and poised to ensure the show is sustained.
Dj Aberga and Merqury Quaye were the MCs for the occasion which kicked off on Saturday with some great performances by Lord Paper, Jah Money King, Massani, King Zuum, and many others…
The DJs were not left out as Dj Laze, Dj Nitro, Dj Stubborn, Dj Vacation, Dj Brown and Dj Nash were on fire jamming the crown with some back-to-back hits and mixes.
The big boys stepped in on Sunday with a top-notch mouthwatering performance that kept the crowd on their feet till Monday morning.
But just before Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale could take their turns, Teshie Boi, Jah Lead, Larruso, Fameye, Kofi Mole, Dada Hafco, Wendy Shay, Mr. Drew, and Akatakyie among others displayed great performances to the teeming audience with some sing-along and danceable tunes.
Nii Sackey and Nii Tettey Kusum, the organizers of the event assured that with the help of Liberty Industries, the July in Nungua would be held annually as part of the Nungua Homowo celebrations.
