The Office of the President has issued a directive to all heads of government institutions to provide detailed information on staff members added to the payroll since December 7, 2024.
This move aims to ensure the accuracy and integrity of government payroll records, promoting transparency and accountability in payroll management processes.

Heads of government institutions must submit the following information for each new staff member:
- Full Name
- Designation
- Employee Identification Number (if applicable)
- Date of Appointment
- Date Added to the Payroll
This information must be submitted to the Office of the President by January 31, 2025. Chief of Staff Julius Debrah emphasized that this data is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the government’s payroll system.
The directive is part of the John Mahama administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and accountability in governance.
Institutions can contact the Office of the President for any clarification or questions regarding the directive.
