The scarcity of housing units and unavailability of affordable housing system in Ghana has led to rent becoming a significant burden for numerous families nationwide.
The issue of commercial house rent is increasingly becoming intolerable and embarrassing. Individuals and families, particularly the youth, would appreciate government intervention in regulating rent issues in Ghana.
Furthermore, similar to the current efforts being made to address city transportation challenges, rent control in towns, villages, and cities requires analogous attention from the central government.
However, the perpetual increase in rent charges is outpacing salaries and monthly wages, making it challenging for many to afford.
Any meaningful government intervention would be greatly appreciated and welcomed by the masses who largely depend on commercial housing units for shelter.
Thank you for your attention.
