NDC Running mate Professor Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang is calling for an end that to the acrimony that has greeted the ongoing voter registration exercise.
The NDC Running mate made the call after registering for a voter’s ID card earlier today.
There have been several reported incidents of violence and intimidation during the ongoing voter registration exercise.
Social media is also awashed with some registrants being frustrated in their attempt to place their name onto the voter roll because of their ethnicity.

Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang in a Facebook post said these acts of intimidation are unnecessary.
“I still believe it is possible to register eligible Ghanaians without the violence, intimidation and blatant discrimination that have characterized the current exercise.”
“We are better than this,” she stated.

She urged all eligible Ghanaians who are yet to register to vote to do so as the exercise edges to a close.
