Ghana COVID-19 numbers have seen an astronomical rise in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service.
679 new cases have moved the number of confirmed cases to 3,286.
The country’s death toll now sits at 367.
Meanwhile, the total number of confirmed cases are 60,794 with 57,141 recoveries recorded.
There have been calls on the President by several groups to lockdown the country in order to avoid the further spread of the deadly virus which seems to be taking several lives in the country.
However, schools have been reopened for academic work to begin after students stayed at home for ten months.
