Chief Inspector of Police Daniel Nkrumah, an investigator, said fingerprints taken from the home of slain Abuakwa North MP J.DanquahAdu matched those of Daniel Asiedu (Sexy DonDon), the first person charged in the murder trial was said in his key testimony before the Accra High Court;
“The report of the Forensic Police Bureau showed that the fingerprints taken from the deceased’s room were the fingerprints of the first defendant
Daniel Asiedu (Sexy DonDon) and the fingerprints were also identical to Aseidu’s size and shape. Sefakor Batsa, Attorney General, the investigator on the case, said the deceased’s wife’s toe and toe printer was also taken away by the police investigative team.
According to investigators, they are fingerprints and fingerprints of other employees of the deceased, including a babysitter, a driver and a security guard. Regarding the wife of the deceased, the investigator said that she (the deceased wife) informed the police team that she had lived peacefully with her husband.

The investigator, who is the eighth witness for the prosecution, said the deceased’s wife told the team that she slept with the boy to get him well. “She continued to sleep with [the children] but that didn’t pose a problem because they got along and she didn’t sleep with her husband for a while,” the witness said.
According to the investigator, on the day of the incident, the wife of the deceased said that she woke up after receiving a call from her gardener telling her the police were at the house and she wanted to come out. The investigator said the deceased’s wife told the gardener that she was scared and couldn’t leave the children, so she stayed inside until police arrived and spoke to her. (the deceased’s wife) directed the team to her husband’s room.
The investigator said the team found the deputy dead and in a pool of blood in his room. According to the investigators, the team questioned the dead man’s wife and took a statement from her. The witness said the team also contacted Abigail Marfo, a neighbour who also said she woke up at 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. on the day of the incident to hear someone putting water in the bathroom.
The investigator said Ms Abigail Marfo informed the team that she screamed when she heard the noise but no one answered, so she went back to sleep. The investigator said that Mrs Mario said she woke up around 9:00 a.m. because she was unwell and refused to go where she usually drum placed in his enclosure and then in his bathroom.

According to the investigator, Asiedu later told police that what he said about Aziz was wrong. In the case of the second defendant, Vincent Bossu, the investigator told the court that Bossu told the
team that Asiedu was his friend. , and they usually went out to steal phones and laptops, among other things.
The investigator said Bossu told the team a day before the incident that Asiedu asked him to prepare so they could go out and steal phones and laptops. However, the investigator said there was some disagreement when Asiedu and Bossu suggested stealing and Bossu decided to return to Agbogboloshie after they both disembarked towards Medina.
“Bossu took home a screwdriver and left the cutter and other tools with Asiedu, and that Bossu stated that when they got off at Shaishie Junction that he didn’t know the house that Asiedu went to,” the investigator said. According to the investigator, Asiedu confirmed Bossu’s story.

Asiedu went to the paths Asiedu took before going to the former MP’s house,” the investigator told the court. The hearing will resume on June 23, 2022.
Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu are being held for the 2016 murder of the former Abuakwa North MP at his residence in Shaishie. Asiedu and Bossu are being held together for a conspiracy to rob. Asiedu was also charged with murder. They have denied the allegations and have been remanded in custody by the court, presided over by Judge Lydia Osei Mario.
