Former NDC parliamentary aspirant, Michael Ayitey Aryee Nii, affectionately known as “The MAAN” has energized the NDC’s Weija-Gbawe campaign with a generous Cash donation of GHC 5,000, 1,000 campaign T-shirts, and 4,000 campaign posters.
The donation was presented to the NDC Weija-Gbawe constituency executives and is expected to enhance the campaign’s outreach efforts and promote the party’s message within the constituency.

Michael Ayitey Aryee Nii previously contested in the NDC Weija-Gbawe parliamentary primaries but was defeated by Felix Odartey Lamptey.
In addition to his donation, he also announced plans to kick-start a house-to-house campaign in the Weija-Gbawe constituency.
The campaign will focus on mobilizing support for NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama and the NDC’s parliamentary candidate for Weija-Gbawe, Felix Odartey Lamptey, in the upcoming December elections.

Mr. Ayitey reiterated his commitment to achieving a resounding victory for both John Mahama and Felix Odartey Lamptey, urging his supporters to join him in the house-to-house initiative.
He stressed the importance of unity and hard work for a successful campaign outcome in Weija-Gbawe.
Receiving the donation, NDC Weija-Gbawe Constituency Chairman, Mohammed Issah expressed gratitude for “The MAAN’s” generosity and pledged to utilize the resources effectively to secure a win for the party.
NDC Greater Accra Deputy Regional Organiser, Gambo Abdulai Zam-Atu, who was also present at the event, commended Michael Ayitey Aryee Nii for his contribution and assured him that the resources would be put to good use.
He called on other aspirants to follow Mr. Ayitey’s example indicating the importance of unity among party executives.
Mr. Gambo expressed optimism about the party’s prospects in Weija-Gbawe, stating, “We have witnessed a sign of unity among the executives; the NDC is poised to win the Weija-Gbawe seat.”
