Former National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo is confident the party is poised for victory in the upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections on December 7.
Acccording to Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo the triumph of the NDC’s presidential candidate, John Mahama is inevitable.
Speaking during a community engagement at Kparepkare in the Krachie East constituency, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo urged residents of the Oti Region to channel their dissatisfaction with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government’s performance into voting against Veep Mahamadu Bawumia at the polls.
The former National chairman questioned the NPP government’s development record in the Oti region saying the only notable progress in the Region has been the proliferation of billboards of the NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia.
“What has the NPP achieved for the Oti Region in the past eight years?” he asked.
The former NDC National Chairman furtber stated that voting against the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration was necessity as they lacked solutions to the nation’s economic difficulties.
He argued that the only route to alleviating the hardships faced by citizens lied with the rejection of the current government at the ballot box.
“The people of Krachie and the entire Oti Region must exercise their right to vote to bring an end to the economic hardships affecting them,” he asserted.
Dr. Samuel Ofosu Ampofo called on citizens to cast their votes overwhelmingly for John Mahama and all NDC parliamentary candidates in the upcoming elections, promising a new era of economic growth, development, and prosperity.
