The newly appointed Acting Managing Director of SIC Insurance Company, James Agyenim-Boateng on Thursday paid an official visit to the company’s headquarters to formally introduce himself and communicate his vision to management and staff.
This visit marked his first official interaction with the workforce since his appointment.

In a meeting with the core management team, Mr. Agyenim-Boateng emphasized the critical role SIC plays in Ghana’s economic landscape, stressing the need to restore the company to its former glory.
He assured the team of his commitment to working collaboratively to reposition SIC as a market leader in the insurance industry.
“It is in the interest of every Ghanaian that SIC works efficiently and regains its glory days. Together, we can project the company, achieve impressive results, and make it a source of pride for all,” he stated.

The Acting MD encouraged staff and management to join forces in revitalizing the company’s operations and enhancing its competitiveness.
He underscored the importance of teamwork, innovation, and a renewed focus on customer satisfaction as pillars for driving growth and success.
On his part, the Deputy Managing Director of SIC, Joseph Eugene Boakye, expressed optimism about the new leadership.

He acknowledged the challenges the company has faced, particularly losing key business to competitors.
Mr. Boakye urged the Acting MD to prioritize strategies that will reclaim lost business opportunities and strengthen SIC’s position in the industry.
He also pledged the unwavering support of the management and staff, assuring Mr. Agyenim-Boateng of their commitment to achieving the company’s collective goals.
The visit ended on a positive note with a renewed sense of determination among the team to work together towards improving the affairs of the State Insurance Company and restoring its prominence in the insurance market.
