President John Dramani Mahama said this at the presidential session of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues 2025 in Accra.
The President of Ghana express his appreciation to President Azali Assoumani of Comoros and President Faure Gnassingbé of Togo for their invaluable contributions during the presidential session of the Africa Prosperity Dialogues 2025.
He stated “Our leadership and commitment to Africa’s shared vision are crucial to unlocking the continent’s potential.

Our presentations recognised the urgent need for effective governance, infrastructure development, and industrialisation to transform our economies and maintain connections, collaboration, and opportunities for our youth and future generations.
H. E John Dramani Mahama also stressed that the immense potential of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), needs urgent attention for trade liberalisation, infrastructure investments, and strengthened intra-African supply chains so that the countries can fully benefit from the Agreement.
