Ghana Post is rolling out a bolder, faster and more customer-focused delivery experience this Christmas with the launch of its maiden “Delivering Joy to Your Door” initiative. Managing Director Rita Sraha says the new campaign is set to transform festive deliveries by introducing improved efficiency, increased speed and a renewed commitment to customer satisfaction.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of Ghana Post’s Festival of Nine Lessons & Carols, the MD said the concept behind the initiative is simple but powerful: to make Christmas deliveries more joyful, timely and reliable for every Ghanaian.

“Ghana Post delivers parcels, letters and anything people want to send to their loved ones. This season, we are making it even more joyful by introducing more efficiency and more speed,” she explained.

Madam Sraha urged customers to start sending their Christmas items early, assuring them that Ghana Post is fully prepared to handle the festive rush. “We are on standby and ready to deliver joy to the people you love,” she said.

Although Ghana Post holds various annual end-of-year activities, the MD revealed that this is the first time the organisation is hosting a combined carols event and delivery-themed promotion.

The maiden edition includes a department-level carol competition, designed to build internal unity and celebrate the season with staff across the organisation’s divisions and units.

“This is the first time Ghana Post is holding a programme like this, and we are excited to extend that joy to our customers,” she said.

She noted that the promotion targets a wide spectrum of customers, from small businesses and corporate offices to families sending hampers or documents to loved ones.

“Everybody who sells, everybody who has a hamper to deliver, a booklet to send, whether to schoolchildren, aunties, uncles or customers, we are targeting all of them,” she said.

She added that Ghana Post has already begun fulfilling holiday deliveries, with EMS motorbikes “going back and forth” across the city as volumes begin to surge.

The “Delivering Joy” promotion also includes incentives for returning customers. Madam Sraha revealed that some will receive discounts depending on the size and frequency of their deliveries, while others will simply be appreciated with various forms of gratitude.

“For our existing customers, we are saying thank you. Some will get discounts; some will be appreciated in other forms. It will unfold as the days go on,” she said.

Addressing concerns about online delivery fraud and impersonation, the MD encouraged the public to use only the official Ghana Post website: www.ghanapost.com.gh  for all transactions. “The world is going digital. You have to join where the world is going. At Ghana Post, we are trustworthy and we can deliver,” she assured.

She warned customers against falling for fraudulent platforms or look-alike websites. “Don’t try any inscription other than the official Ghana Post website. That is what brings you to the trustworthy Ghana Post,” she emphasized.

Touching on expectations for the maiden edition, she said Ghana Post handles far more deliveries than the public realizes. She disclosed that the organisation has already processed over 80,000 packages in recent operations, a sign that the festive season could break new records.

“You’ll be surprised. We do a lot of volumes. This season will be a lot, and we will update the media as we go,” she said.

She added that Ghana Post will measure the success of the campaign by monitoring volume growth and delivery impact as the season unfolds. “Bring your items to Ghana Post and let us deliver for you. We can deliver, and we will continue to deliver,” she stated.
