Immigration law specialist and private legal practitioner Wonder Victor Kutor has launched Ghana’s first ever comprehensive book on immigration law titled ‘The Immigration Formulae: Rules, Packaging and Strategy’’.
The book aims to help applicants understand immigration rules and improve their documentation to ensure success.
The 210 paged book provides an extensive insight into the processes and legal requirements governing immigration as well as detailed discussions on asylum laws, the fundamentals of visa applications, immigration rules, application packaging, and strategic considerations applicants must bear in mind.
The book also contains real life exhibits designed to help readers understand immigration documentation and processes, providing guidance for travelers seeking opportunities abroad.
The forward to the book was written by His Lordship Justice Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi, justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana and Prof. Dr. Larry Larry DiMatteo, former Editor-In-Chief of the American Business Law Journal.

In an interview with the media at the launch which took place at the Ghana Shippers Authority, Ridge, Accra, Mr. Kutor who is also a board member of the Volta River Authority, explained that the book is intended to serve as a reference and an educational resource for lawyers, non-lawyers and other actors in the immigration fraternity.
He pointed out that the book seeks to bridge the information gab prospective migrants face when applying for visas.
‘’The book explains immigration rules, documentation requirements and strategies applicants must understand when presenting their cases to consulates’’, he added.
He however cautioned visa applicants to avoid misrepresentation because such situations can lead to long term bans.

His Lordship Justice Emmanuel Yonny Kulendi, in his remarks acknowledged that immigration plays an important role in contributing to economic development in both host and origin countries, adding that global remittance flows reached over 900 billion dollars in 2024, reflecting the increasing economic impact of migration worldwide.
