The Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition is calling on the West African Examination Council to tighten security at BECE centers in Chereponi.
Chereponi has over the past few days become the center of attacks and killings as the conflict between Chakosi and Kokomba assume heightened proportions.
GNECC believes happenings in the area should prompt authorities to increase security in the area to ensure candidates for the ongoing BECE are adequately protected.
In a statement signed by its National Coordinator Veronica Dzeagu, the coalition said security should be beefed up in other conflict prone areas to ensure candidates are safe.
