Hon. Amina Issah, Assembly Member for the Gbawe West Electoral Area in the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, in collaboration with her Unit Committee members, on Sunday, December 29, 2025, hosted her annual support programme for widows and the less privileged at Djaman Junction.
The humanitarian event was aimed at spreading joy and providing relief to vulnerable members of the community.
Over 150 beneficiaries were supported during the programme, with each receiving a 5kg bag of rice. The occasion was further enlivened with fun games and interactive activities, where participants won exciting prizes amid cheer and fellowship.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Amina Issah reflected on her achievements over the past year, highlighting various developmental and social interventions undertaken within the Gbawe West Electoral Area. She also outlined her plans and vision for the coming year, reaffirming her commitment to inclusive development and the welfare of widows and the less privileged.
She emphasized that the programme forms part of her dedication to giving back to the community and ensuring that vulnerable groups feel supported and valued, especially during challenging economic times.
