Development Bank Ghana (DBG) is celebrating five years of driving economic transformation, supporting businesses, and strengthening Ghana’s private sector through innovative financing and strategic partnerships.
Speaking on the milestone, DBG’s Chief Executive Officer, Professor Randolph Nsor-Ambala, said the anniversary is a testament to the bank’s unwavering commitment to empowering businesses and creating opportunities for sustainable growth.

“Over the past five years, DBG has remained focused on its mission of expanding access to finance, building the capacity of businesses, and contributing to Ghana’s economic development. This milestone reflects the collective efforts of our partners, stakeholders, and dedicated team, whose support has enabled us to make a meaningful impact across the country,” Prof. Nsor said.
He added that DBG will continue to champion innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth to ensure that more businesses, particularly SMEs, can thrive and contribute to national development.
“As we celebrate this achievement, we remain committed to deepening our impact, fostering resilience among businesses, and supporting Ghana’s long-term economic transformation. The journey continues, and we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead,” he stated.
The 5th Anniversary Media launched was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel.
Since its establishment, DBG has provided critical support to financial institutions and businesses, helping to unlock funding, create jobs, and promote sustainable economic growth across key sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
