The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, is leading Ghana’s delegation to the 48th Ordinary Session Of The Executive Council Of The African Union.
He has already arrived in Addis Ababa , Ethiopia and was welcomed by the Head of Ghana’s Embassy and Permanent Representative to AU and UNECA , Ambassador Dr. Robert Afriyie.
Whilst in Addis Ababa, the minister will also hold bilateral and side meetings with other nations and organizations.
The Forty-Eighth (48th) Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the African Union (AU), is one of the African Union’s principal policy organs, composed of Ministers of Foreign Affairs or other designated Ministers of AU Member States. It is responsible for coordinating and taking decisions on policies in areas of common interest to Member States, and for preparing items for consideration by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government, in line with the objectives of Agenda 2063.
