James Agyenim-Boateng has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the State Insurance Company SIC, succeeding Hollister Duah-Yentumi, whose tenure has been officially terminated.
The announcement was made on January 27, 2025, marking a significant shift in the leadership of one of Ghana’s premier insurance firms.
Agyenim-Boateng, a lawyer and accomplished communications consultant, brings a wealth of experience to the position.
His background includes a distinguished career in media and public service, having served as a Presidential Staffer at the Office of the Vice President from 2013 to January 2017.
Known for his expertise in governance and strategic communications, he is poised to steer SIC in a new and innovative direction.
This leadership transition reflects SIC Insurance’s commitment to revitalizing its operations and maintaining its status as a leading player in Ghana’s insurance industry.
