The next National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, led by Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, has pledged to prioritize and upgrade the Ho Teaching Hospital. This upgrade will provide opportunities for graduates from the University of Health and Allied Sciences to work in the hospital and its laboratories.
Mahama made this promise during a media encounter before embarking on his Volta regional campaign tour. He noted that the Ho Teaching Hospital was previously upgraded under the former NDC administration, but since leaving office, little progress has been made.
Mahama emphasized that the upgrade is part of the NDC’s vision to resource the hospital and improve healthcare delivery in the region. He assured that the next NDC government will fulfill this promise and create opportunities for healthcare professionals to contribute to the development of the sector.
This commitment is expected to resonate with the people of Volta Region and reinforce the NDC’s dedication to improving healthcare infrastructure and services in Ghana.
