A presidential staffer at the office of the vice President, Krobea Kwabena Asante has also confirmed that notorious Galamsey kingpin Aisha Huang was not deported as reported by many, but she was rather repatriated.
Following the re-arrest of embattled Chinese “galamsey queen”, Aisha Huang, many have questioned if indeed the government “deported” her [Huang] in 2018 as was widely published and justified by then Senior Minister, Hon. Osafo Marfo.
Reacting to president Akufo Addo’s interview yesterday, the presidential staffer, Kwabena Asante disclosed that En Huang alias Aisha Huang, was repatriated, not deported by the effect of a “notice of revocation of permit and repatriation” dated 19th. December 2018, which was authored and signed by Comptroller-General Kwame Asuah Takyi.
He said deportation and repatriation have different meanings and the well-meaning Ghanaian should endeavor to find them and not confuse both words.
He disclosed that the documents confirming her repatriation are available for everyone to access and confirm what the president said yesterday.
