Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has noted that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s uncertainty regarding the deportation of ‘galamsey kingpin’ Aisha Huang confirms his findings that the deportation was a hoax, wondering when the President become doubtful about the issue after he(President Akufo-Addo) had declared the deportation as a mistake in 2019.
Mr Ablakwa wondered, among others, what steps the President has taken to get the facts of the matter.
President Akufo-Addo confirms my explosive findings about the Aisha Huang deportation hoax when he shockingly concedes that he doesn’t know if Aisha Huang was deported or if she fled. (See video attached).
Curiously, President Akufo-Addo had said some three years ago, at a Princeton event in September 2019 that Aisha Huang’s deportation was a mistake.
“So at what point did President Akufo-Addo become unsure about Aisha’s deportation? What steps has he taken since then to convince himself about the facts? What has he done to his officials confusing/misleading him? How does he assure the nation that, at best he isn’t sleeping on the job or at worst, he isn’t neck-deep in this grand conspiracy?
Is the President now compelled to shift positions because of the damning revelations we are putting in the public domain?” He quizzed.
Mr Ablakwa added that concerns as to whether the President is really in charge of the country’s security are legitimate:
“Many Ghanaians are legitimately asking if President Akufo-Addo is still our Commander-in-Chief and Chair of the National Security Council.
Ghana is really doomed!” he lamented.
To get to the bottom of the matter, Mr. Ablakwa wants a parliamentary probe into the matter.
“The latest horrifying development further justifies our demand for a full-scale independent inquiry. We shall insist on this imperative failing which we shall trigger processes in Parliament for a legislative inquiry,” he concluded.
