The Managing Director of Tema Oil Refinery, Edmond Kombat, has officially received copies of the 11th Edition of the HR + IR Perspective Magazine produced by Capital Group Limited, highlighting the refinery’s transformational journey and key milestones achieved under his leadership since assuming office in 2025.
The annual publication by Capital Group Limited, an HR consultancy firm, focuses on profiling institutions and corporate leadership across various sectors.
Tema Oil Refinery was featured prominently in this year’s edition in recognition of the refinery’s recent operational recovery and restructuring efforts.
According to TOR, the feature in the prestigious publication is expected to strengthen the company’s corporate image, project its success story, and boost investor confidence as the refinery positions itself for sustained operations and growth.
“TOR is honoured to be featured in this prestigious 11th edition, which contributes significantly to strengthening the company’s image, telling its success story, and boosting investor confidence as the refinery remains open for business,” the statement noted.
Management of the refinery also expressed appreciation to Capital Group Limited for selecting TOR at what it described as a significant and defining moment in the company’s history.
“Indeed, there could not have been a better time to feature TOR than now,” the statement emphasized.
The refinery highlighted that after years of inactivity since 2018, it successfully completed its Turnaround Maintenance exercise and resumed operations in the last quarter of 2025.
The development, according to management, represents a major milestone in TOR’s recovery agenda and reflects ongoing efforts to reposition the refinery as a key player in Ghana’s petroleum downstream sector.
Gratitude was also extended to the management and staff of Capital Group Limited for recognising the progress made by the refinery and documenting its transformation journey in the latest edition of the magazine.
