A Political Science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Dr. Kwesi Amakye Boateng says Ghanaians made a mistake when they elected President Akufo-Addo into office in 2016.
Dr. Kwesi Amakye Boateng who was speaking in an interview with Sena Nombo on the Gold Morning Conversation made the statement in response to President Akufo-Addo’s assurance that the country will soon see a turnaround in its worsening economic situation.
According to Dr. Amakye Boateng says the President’s claim is a clear indication that he had no clue of the mess he had plunged Ghana into.
The Political Science Lecturer says Ghana’s current crisis would last for years.
He wondered how President Akufo-Addo would successfully rally the right personnel to resolve the situation when he seems not to understand the gravity of the situation.
