Last year election is one of the anticipated elections in the history of Ghana. Following the election rumpus that upsurges between National Democratic Congress (NDC) and New Patriotic Party (NPP), after the declaration of the results.
The electoral commission headed by Jean Mensah declared the incumbent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo as the president-elect in the 4th republic of Ghana. The strong opposition party National democratic congress didn’t accept the result in a good faith, following the fraud and uncertified pink sheets controversies that transpired at some constituency.
National Democratic Congress led by John Dramani Mahama accused the electoral commission of Ghana for declaring wrong figures, which many Ghanaians stood against them, accusing why are they jeopardizing the work of the EC. News coming today from the headquarters of EC, NDC is finally vindicated and it is good news for the Party emerging the petition filed to Supreme Court as EC eventually admits errors in the declaration of the presidential results.
Following the court petition filed by NDC and EC admitting the errors can they win the court verdict and if they win can Mahama be sworn in as a president since we have already sworn in Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo.
