The Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, has asked President Akufo Addo to check his own office the Jubilee of misinformation before he wades into such arguments
The former President made this call a day after a statement he made on the possible creation of a region out of Bawku was twisted by members believed to be in the Jubilee House
During his first visit to the Bawku Naba in the Upper East region, the Chief made a passionate request for the creation of a region out of Bawku
However, in response to the Bawku Naba’s request, the leader and flagbearer of the NDC said even though it’s possible to create a region out of Bawku, it has to go through a thorough process looking at the Constitutional Instrument, the Land size of the area, economic viability then a referendum
But in a twist of events, the response of the former President has been misrepresented, describing it as information
Making a comparison to what President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo described in the ‘Agyepadie document’, which the president described as fake and misinformation, the former President cautioned him to first check his office, the Jubilee House which has been turned into a den of misinformation
The sharp rebuttal was made when the Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress called on Binduri Naba as part of his second day campaign tour in the Upper East region
