TDC Ghana Ltd and the Ghana Integrated Aluminium Development Corporation (GIADEC) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms to develop an integrated industrial park in Tema,
Ghana.

This strategic collaboration aims to stimulate industrial growth, generate employment opportunities, and support President John Dramani Mahama’s 24-Hour Economy Agenda. The industrial park will focus on manufacturing, downstream aluminium production, logistics, and export services.

Under the terms of the agreement, TDC and GIADEC will provide land and regulatory support, while ARISE will provide technical services, design and build infrastructure, and lead construction and operation.

The project is expected to create over 4,000 direct jobs and attract significant investment, contributing to Ghana’s economic development and industrial transformation. A section of the park will be dedicated exclusively to downstream aluminium industries, supporting the development of an integrated aluminium industry.

ARISE has successfully partnered with countries like Togo, Benin, and Rwanda to develop industrial zones, and it brings valuable experience from those projects to this collaboration.

The successful development of the industrial park will accelerate Ghana’s transformative agenda and reduce unemployment.

The project is expected to commence this year and be commissioned within the next 24 months.
