SIC Insurance PLC has approved a dividend payout of GH¢20 million for the 2025 financial year, doubling the company’s dividend from the previous year.
The decision was taken at the company’s 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Wesley Towers in Accra, with shareholders also participating virtually.
Shareholders approved a final dividend of GH¢0.1022 per share, with the payment scheduled for October 12, 2026.
The development reflects the company’s improved financial performance and its commitment to delivering value to shareholders.
The AGM was chaired by Board Chairman, Mr Bernard Ahiafor, with the Acting Managing Director, Mr James Agyenim-Boateng, providing updates on the company’s operations and performance.
The meeting provided shareholders with an opportunity to review the company’s performance for the 2025 financial year and consider key resolutions, including the proposed dividend.
The doubling of the dividend payout is expected to strengthen investor confidence in SIC Insurance and reinforce the company’s position on the Ghana Stock Exchange.
The company’s decision to distribute GH¢20 million to shareholders also signals its intention to balance shareholder returns with its broader business and growth objectives.
The dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders on October 12, 2026, in accordance with the company’s approved dividend arrangements.
