President John Dramani Mahama has arrived in Dubai to participate in the World Governments Summit 2026, a high-level global forum that convenes world leaders, policymakers, and development partners to shape the future of governance and international cooperation.
The President travelled on a special aircraft provided by the Ruler of the United Arab Emirates, a diplomatic gesture that underscores the warm and enduring bilateral relations between Ghana and the UAE.
The World Governments Summit serves as a global platform for dialogue on innovative governance systems, economic transformation, technological advancement, and sustainable development, bringing together leaders from governments, international organisations, and the private sector.
While in Dubai, President Mahama is expected to engage in high-level bilateral and multilateral meetings focused on advancing Ghana’s development priorities, attracting strategic investments, and strengthening partnerships that support inclusive growth and global cooperation.
