Power supply interruptions being experienced at Dodowa, Oyibi, and surrounding areas are due to multiple damages on the Dodowa and Valley View feeders.
One of the faults was successfully resolved at 10:05 PM last night. Work is ongoing to construct a new 10-span overhead line to bypass a damaged 33kV cable that has recently caused repeated disruptions.
Despite deploying three contractors, the line works could not be completed today. Work will resume tomorrow with additional resources to expedite completion.
In the interim, power supply has been restored. However, due to ongoing technical constraints, load from two feeders is currently being managed on a single feeder to maintain system stability.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to improve service reliability.
Further updates will be provided as work progresses.
