Adamus Resources Limited has strongly condemned the decision by the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, to revoke the company’s mining leases, describing the action as unlawful and a violation of due process.
In a statement issued on August 12, 2026, the company said it received the decision with “shock and disappointment,” alleging that the process leading to the revocation disregarded statutory procedures prescribed under the Minerals and Mining Act, 2006 (Act 703).
Adamus Resources categorically denied allegations levelled against the company, describing them as “unfounded, contrived and deliberately manufactured” to pressure the firm and deprive it of its mining leases.
The company further accused the Minister of abusing his authority and disregarding the law in the process, leading to what it described as the “contemptible revocation” of its leases.
Adamus Resources said it was taking steps to challenge the revocation and assured the public that it would provide further details on the actions it intends to pursue in the coming days.
