Maame Efua Houadjeto (Mrs.), Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) has been honored at the 7th Africa Brain Bank Annual Summit and Awards. The award was presented at the Summit held from 3rd to 8th September at the Marriott Hotel in Accra.

The ceremony brought together businesses and investors across health care, tourism, pharmaceutical, construction, finance, technology, logistics, real estate, infrastructure, government officials. The 7th Annual Summit Charity Ball and Medical City Ground-breaking targeted members of the African Diaspora who can contribute expertise, investment, network and philanthropic support while reconnecting with Ghana’s cultural and historical Heritage.

Mrs. Houadjeto received Africa’s Brain Bank premiere Africa Visionary Leadership Award for her visionary leadership, exemplary public service, and transformative contributions to Ghana’s economic, industrial, tourism, and community development.

In response to the award, the GTA CEO, Mrs Houadjeto said,” I am appreciative for the honour done me by the Organisers but this award is dedicated to the supportive, dedicated and hardworking Management and Staff of the Ghana Tourism Authority”.
