The National Democratic Congress’ Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East Naa Koryoo Okunor says the recent shooting at a Polling station in Kasoa is the culmination of a violent streak by Member of Parliament for the area Hawa Koomson.
She told Sena Nombo on the Gold Power Drive the dastardly act is just one of several that have been unleashed by the MP during this registration exercise.
There is mounting pressure on President Nana Akufo-Addo to fire the MP from her position as Minister of Special Development Initiatives.

Even though the President is yet to barge, the NDC candidate for Awutu Senya East Naa Koryoo Okunor said the highly condemned act is within the character of the MP.
According to her, the MP has a penchant for supervising bloody attacks on NDC agents stating, “Anywhere Hawa goes blood must flow.”
Naa Koryoo Okunor said she expected issues based campaign but knew the MP’s “deeds.”
The NDC Awutu Senya East candidate however said the acts of violence do not daunt herself and the opposition party.
Naa Koryoo Okunor said she expected the arrest and interrogation of Hawa Koomson over the act but the police are yet to act accordingly.
She said the police are aware of the violence of the MP since they have witnessed some of the acts themselves.
